2025 started with a deep sense of grief. I had a dream that I was carrying a large revolving ball of grief. Dark, then areas of color and light spinning from it. I woke up, ran to my studio to paint it. The word grief, written over and over, turned into rotating shapes and color and light. From this painting, the rest of the series came to be.
